Historical maps and files are not available for public distribution. Allied does not provide an archive lookup or old-map copy service.
Stone Land Surveying Company
Allied acquired Stone Land Surveying of Davie County, North Carolina, and its survey records. Older surveys or business listings may use the name Stone Land Surveying Co.
These records provide historical context for our current boundary surveys in Mocksville, Davie County, and surrounding communities.
MLA Design Group — surveying department
Allied acquired the surveying department of MLA Design Group, Inc. and its survey records. This collection also included records from Brady Land Surveying and Tutterow Surveying Company that MLA already held.
We use these records in our current surveying work. The acquisition concerned MLA’s surveying department; MLA Design Group’s landscape architecture and land planning business is separate.
Brady Land Surveying / Brady Surveying Company
Allied holds Brady surveying records through the acquisition of MLA Design Group’s surveying department. Historical listings and documents also use Brady Surveying Company.
These materials support research and evaluation of historical survey evidence for current projects.
Tutterow Surveying Company
Allied holds Tutterow survey records that were part of MLA Design Group’s surveying collection. The Mocksville practice also appears in historical listings as Tutterow Surveying Co.
Our surveyors consult these materials as part of the research supporting current boundary surveys.

Our historical collection includes many maps prepared by Joe Franklin of Franklin Surveying Company. This partial collection is maintained for internal research supporting current boundary surveys.
The Phillip R. Ball Company — Phil Ball
Our historical collection includes many maps prepared by Phil Ball of The Phillip R. Ball Company. This partial collection is maintained for internal research supporting current boundary surveys.
